Dr. Vaughn Calhoun
Assistant Vice President and Dean of the Center for Academic Success at Seton Hall University
A former full-scholarship football student-athlete at Rutgers University, Dr. Calhoun is also a first-generation college graduate. He holds a Master of Public Policy and Administration from California State University Long Beach, as well as a Doctorate of Education from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Calhoun's expertise and insights have garnered him recognition and invitations to provide commentary on various platforms such as Fortune Magazine - Education Edition, The Chronicle of Higher Education, US News & World Report, The Huffington Post, NASPA Policy Blogs, and more.
Additionally, he actively contributes to the Student Affairs community as a member of NASPA, where he serves as the Region II Policy Blog Chair and the Region II Representative for the Black Diaspora Knowledge Community.
