INTERNSHIP FAQs
The Internship Program is a career opportunity where The National Society of Leadership and Success hires you to begin a chapter of the NSLS, or lead an existing chapter, on your campus. As an NSLS Chapter President, you'll be in charge of recruiting a Faculty Advisor, appointing your Executive Board, and handling the management and budget for the chapter. You will be leading the events with your Board and Advisor.
The NSLS is the nation's largest accredited leadership honor society. Students are selected by their college for membership based on either academic standing or leadership potential. Candidacy is a nationally recognized achievement of honorable distinction. With more than 700 chapters, the NSLS currently has over 1.5 million members nationwide.
In addition to this honorable distinction, the NSLS provides a step-by-step program for members to build their leadership skills through participation on campus or online. Upon completion of the program, members receive their leadership certificate and take their place among other top student leaders. Members are able to list their affiliation on all statements of personal accomplishment, including their resume.
Membership is for life and provides access to benefits including scholarships and awards, exclusive on-campus events, employer recruitment through an online job bank, and discounts on computers, textbooks, grad school prep courses, insurance, and more.

Only one student will be selected on each campus.
We do not have a hard deadline to submit applications, but we do hire on a rolling basis. This means that once we find a great candidate at a particular campus, we will extend an offer. Please make every attempt to fill out your application as soon as possible if you are truly interested.
This internship can be completed on campus or virtually.
This internship is flexible and can be very accommodating based on your schedule. Whether it be your classes, work, or other activities, you can work the Internship Program around your schedule. Most interns spend 7-10 hours a week working on internship-related tasks.
