Dominick Bencivenga is part-time Chief Financial Officer at the NSLS. In this role, he focuses on strategic planning, financial modeling, and cash-flow management. A trusted advisor to the President and Founder/Chief Visionary Officer, Dominick brings over 38 years of business experience to the team.

A big-picture strategist, Dominick also has a sharp eye for detail and consistently achieves the best possible results for the companies with whom he works. In every business he consults with, Dominick is a trusted advisor to the business owner or nonprofit’s Executive Director. At The A Team, he is one of their core CFO’s, managing 15 separate clients in very distinct industries, while also handling an active role as one of the company’s key drivers of new prospects and clients.

Prior to joining The A Team, Dominick founded and ran Freelance Financial, a New York Metro-based accounting solutions company that served start-ups, small businesses, and entrepreneurial companies throughout the NY metropolitan area. Early in his career, Dominick was a Vice President in Citibank’s Retail Banking Division, working in diverse areas such as finance, marketing, distribution, sales, and branch management.

Dominick is a life-long New Yorker and earned his bachelor’s degree in management and his MBA in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He is the proud father of three adult children.
