What is a College Leadership Program?

To be a successful leader today, you need to exhibit a range of leadership attributes. Here are six attributes that will help you succeed:

Likeability. Most people gravitate toward individuals they enjoy working with and trust. So, to succeed in the long term, leaders must be likable, or they will find it difficult to connect with others. Many people are born with likeability, but it is a quality you can develop and continue to hone.

Effective Communication. Communication is one of the most critical leadership skills, which makes information easy to understand and remember. Great communication is a skill that can be taught and enhanced over time.

Decisiveness. It’s not always easy to make key decisions, but influential leaders are comfortable taking on responsibility and being held accountable for the outcomes of their choices. Accountability. Even great leaders make mistakes.
