Our Chart Your Re-Entry journey began with the release of our fall 2021 enhancements, including improved program tools, updated curriculum, digital badge credentials, innovative technology, and more.
Now, with our improved Chapter Leader Dashboard and Hybrid model, you can deliver a more fulfilling program experience to your members and get the support you need to continue being a successful Chapter Leader.
At the beginning of the pandemic, we quickly adapted our program to meet the changing needs of our Chapter Leaders and members. In the fall, we began applying what we learned to deliver a better experience.
Relationship building is more important than ever. Now, all NSLS activities and events are focused on identifying and building connections with fellow members and Chapter Leaders in all formats (Live, Live-Online, Online):
Orientation includes a stronger emphasis on learning about the local chapter and the support available from the National Office.
Each event for Live and Live-Online utilizes small group exercises to encourage connection across identities.
More activities in smaller groups to promote shared experiences and collaboration with fellow members.
With the new content update, we have shortened our overall programming from 12-14 hours down to 9-10 hours. Event days have been remodeled so you can maximize the time spent with members and increase their ability to complete their steps toward induction faster.
Additionally, we have combined SNTs with LTD and Speaker Broadcasts. This has reduced the maximum number of event days to six. This shorter format makes it more convenient for members to engage in programs within the flow of their regular day and in more engaging ways.
The Six Foundations of Leadership have been part of the Steps to Induction for over a decade. These concepts have been updated and refreshed into new principles and behaviors.
Members will learn the skills a leader needs in a changing world to make a positive impact. Like many college courses that build on each other, we will be integrating these principles and behaviors in an update of our Advanced and Executive programs as well.
The newly-launched NSLS digital badges serve as verification of members’ leadership certifications and keeps members on track to complete the Steps to Induction. The badges are a recognized distinction in the job market so hiring managers can easily see proof of skill levels and competencies. Badges are earned at four stages of the NSLS programs:
FOL 101-1 - Completed Orientation and LTD
FOL 101-2 - Completed 3 Speaker Broadcasts and 3 SNTs
ADV 201 - Completed Advanced Leadership
EXEC 301 - Completed Executive Leadership
We are committed to providing a more seamless, user-friendly experience across all of our programs. For Fall 2021, we have updated our Live-Online BBB experience with increased audience capacity, more breakout rooms, and enhanced audio and visual content:
Up to 24 breakout rooms facilitated by advisors
